Parks
A great thing about Downtown Decatur is the abundance of green spaces. There is a pocket park on 2nd Avenue that was built between two buildings and a wide expanse of green lawn in front of the Old State Bank on Bank Street, perfect for family picnics. Closer to the Riverfront is Rhodes Ferry Park and Ingalls Harbor, both parks known for the annual events held there. In the residential areas close to Downtown Decatur is Delano Park, site of a historically-restored rose garden, and Frazier Park, a Japanese-inspired garden.

Ingall’s Harbor
Ingall’s Harbor is located just northwest of the downtown area. The park is the site of many national fishing tournaments and annual city events. The harbor has a public boat dock and wide-open green space.
Rhodes Ferry Park
Located on the banks of the Tennessee River near the Bank Street district, Rhodes Ferry Park offers stunning river views. The park has a large playground and picnic shelters, and the park is the site of free summer concerts.
